Wallops Wood Cottages are six multi-award winning ground-floor self-catering cottages, located in the South Downs National Park. Sleeping 6-8 people they can be booked individually or as a group (up to 42 people). Family friendly and accessible, they provide a comfortable year-round base for walking, cycling and sightseeing. Up to two pets are welcome in each cottage for a supplementary charge of £25 per animal to cover additional cleaning.

Five of the cottages have oak floors with underfloor heating fuelled by an eco-friendly wood chip boiler, while Skeldale (a detached cottage) is carpeted. All of the cottages have wood burners, individual enclosed gardens with hot tubs and stunning views.

We’ve recently added a page dedicated to ‘Dogs’ on our website where you’ll find details of the complimentary ‘dog basket’ containing: holiday tag; treats; blankets and throws; towel; toy to keep; poop scoop and bags; bowls and walking books. Local dog services are listed (groomers, walkers and vets), the RSPCA have produced advice on taking your dog on holiday and there is information to plan dog-friendly days out, and walks direct from the cottage door to dog-friendly pubs. We can also provide dog beds and crates to save you space in the car.

We offer supplementary packages for you too: meals for the fridge; spa treatments; newspaper delivery; bicycle hire; babysitters and personal chefs.

Not all our guests have pets so, for the benefit of everyone staying at the cottages, we ask that you follow the Dog Rules.
